UVa dean to speak at leadership luncheon

Harry Harding, dean of the University of Virginia's Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, will be the third speaker in this year's Professional Women's Leadership Luncheon Series hosted by the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce.

The event takes place June 27 at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach-Norfolk Hotel & Conference Center, 5655 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon and presentation from noon to 1:15 p.m.

Tickets are $30, and the event is open to both men and women. To register, visit the chamber's website.

Harding replaces University of Virginia President Teresa Sullivan as the luncheon's speaker. The university announced earlier this week that Sullivan will resign on Aug. 15.
