Website will streamline federal resources for small businesses
If you've ever applied for an SBA loan or explored federal export opportunities, you've probably clicked your way into a maze of government websites. It's frustrating, time-consuming and overwhelming.
The White House wants to make things easier by consolidating six federal agencies that serve small businesses. And you, as a small business owner, have a say in the process.
BusinessUSA, a new website scheduled to launch soon, will be a one-stop shop for the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Small Business Administration, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Export-Import-Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corp. and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
The White House Business Council is seeking input about the site on this forum. Click the link and have your say.
